B.Sc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
The previous century was dominated by Physical Science and Technology but now we are entering into a century of biochemistry due to the outbreak of the global pandemic COVID-19.
This part of scientific study is still in its first phase since it has a vast field to study. Scientists are facing new challenges every day in this field. The study of biochemistry is thrilling and always exciting.
To face the future challenges of the century, Bangladesh has also come forward in the fields of biochemistry. Due to the rapid establishment of high tech laboratories Bangladesh is showing hopes of creating brilliant biochemists sooner than we ever think. Graduates of Biochemistry can easily take part as a research associate or chemical engineer in any renowned chemical industry and food industry at home and abroad. Usually, the salary range for any biochemist is way higher than any other professionals.
With this hope of creating more brilliant biochemist researchers and academics, the department of Biochemistry at NIST will do whatever needs necessary.
- SSC or Equivalent with Minimum GPA 3.5 from Science Group.
- HSC or Equivalent with Minimum GPA 3.5 from Science Group.
- Minimum GPA 3.00 in Chemistry/ Biology/Psychology.
- Students from English medium have to complete in “O” level minimum 3B grades out of minimum 04 subjects and in “A” level minimum 1B grade out of minimum 02 subjects.
